Sometimes we want to make a difference in our community and we certainly can. There are many things that I have found to do in the great city of Phoenix.

Love the theatre? I surely do. Well you can definitely render your services at the Phoenix Theatre and it would be much appreciated! This is the oldest arts institute in the entire state of Arizona. Between the months of September and June, there are two plays and four musicals that are performed. The theatre desires ushers for these events. If you usher one run, you will receive one ticket and a discounted one. Not a bad deal for those of you who are like me and love the theatre. For more information on ushering contact them at (602) 889-5287 if you are interested in production volunteering, contact Michael Eddy at (602) 889-6301.

The Phoenix Art Museum is always looking for greeters, tour guides and office workers. They are looking for individuals who want to sell memberships and help out with family and group visits. There are also certain events that may need a little helping hand. There are events like Family Fun Days where you can volunteer in art activities. There is bound to be something to grab everyone's interest.

Volunteer for the ASDB (Arizona State Schools for the Deaf and Blind). The campus in Phoenix (there is one in Tuscon as well) very much relies on volunteers to help out with the students' educational programs. It is so important that these students get one on one attention. Not to mention, the out door activities need assistance as well. For more information on volunteering, please contact them at pdsdinfo@asdb.state.az.us

John Lincoln Hospitals are always looking for volunteers. There are two locations in which you may volunteer. One of the locations is Lincoln Deer Valley Hospital. They ask that you visit the site so that you can complete the form they provided. You can visit the site from here or at the other location in Deer Valley
