OK, so it's that time of year again. Time to plan what to eat while watching the big game. These foods range anywhere from snacks to full-on meals. This is a list of the top 10 foods discussed or planned by people for the Super Bowl.

10. Po'Boys/Submarine Sandwiches/Hoagies. No matter what you call it there seems to be a pretty popular choice this year. I have read everything from veggie subs for the Vegans out there to fully loaded sandwiches with every kind of meat possible. If I were making or ordering these i would stick with a basic ham turkey or roast beef.

9. Barbecue food. Some people are crazy enough to go out into the cold weather and throw food on the grill. I know it is always a popular favorite. Cant go wrong here if you ask me. I could easily throw some BBQ food down the ol hatch. There's nothing like a good slab of ribs or BBQ chicken to hit the spot.

8. Hot dogs seem to be another favorite, especially with the households having kids in them. kids typically eat them up and are easy to make weather you throw them on the grill, boil them or even fry them in the pan.

7. Hamburgers/ Cheeseburgers. Easy to make in the oven or on the grill and convenient for guests to put their own fixins on it. It is always a good idea to have a few patties done without cheese for those who are still worried about their New Years resolutions or really are worried about eating those few extra calories.

6. Macaroni Salad. While I am not real fond of this it is another food quite popular. It is easy for a lot of people weather it is the host of the party making it or a guest bringing it. I seem to find most guests who bring it like to save the time of making and heading to the local grocery store and picking up a ready made container.

5. Potato Salad. This is one of my favorites not just to eat but to make. It is always a good traditional classic dish and always appreciated.

4. Potato Chips/ Pretzels. These are great for snacking the whole game through. With so many different flavors available it is hard to go wrong with a choice. For me personally i am not big on dips so the flavored chips are my first choice anything from dill pickle flavored chips to sour cream and onion and even barbecue.
