Arthritis Gout is very painful, painful to the touch, you will not be able to keep the covers on top of your toes not even a sheet, you will not be able to move your big toe or any of your toes at all, every movement cause extreme pain, you will not be able to walk without limping and that is very painful, standing on the feet will only cause more pain even if you try sitting up with your feet on the floor that will also cause pain. Your pain will last all day and all night until you see a doctor to get some treatment, than you may see some relief in around twenty - four hours or so, if you stay off your feet because, that only makes the pain worst.

The only thing you can do is to lay down and elevate your foot because standing, or walking, only makes it hurt more. Your big toe will be swollen, red, and very tender to the touch. When you go to the hospital they'll give you a Anti-inflammatory pill to take right than and a prescription to pick-up more. They'll also give you a special shoe to ware so that you can keep your foot straight, it will keep you from bumping your toes as well because, the shoe will be a little bit longer than your toes so that you can't bump your toes, and there's a metal plate to protect your heel, this shoe will protects your foot very well, a friend of mind had this problem with her toe and found out she had Arthritis Gout and this article is about all the things she had to do to make her foot and toes better..

When you first get Arthritis Gout it will most likely start in the big toe, and will last for three to four days with medication than, you may not see it again for months or years, and when it does return it can also affect other parts of the body like, the knees, elbows, or hands, if you have a Kidney Disease that can also bring on Gout. There are certain things you can't eat or drink like liver, and sardines, or drink any alcohol while you're taking medication for this problem because, with the inflammatory medicine this will cause internal bleeding, you're not suppose to take any aspirin either which can also cause internal bleeding inside your body. Follow-up with your doctor for treatment.
