Do you despise waiting in line? Does the time out of your life that you'll never get back bug the living daylights out of you? Do you want to scream at the top of your lungs when you are ten cars back and the light turns green and thirty seconds later you still haven't moved? (Okay, that's my own pet peeve, but I hate waiting in line too.) If you believe that waiting in line is what Jean Paul Sartre really said hell should have been, then here is some advice that may just possibly save you some precious minutes that you can put to better use.

Take movies for instance. Although the trend of wasting two or even four screens at your local multiplex for the showing of a single movie has made blockbuster lines around the block pretty much a thing of the past, you can still find yourself waiting in line to get into a theater. This is especially true at any Rave Motion Pictures theater where no matter how many people may be in line, they stubbornly insist on having only one ticket window open on most occasions. The best way to avoid lines at your local cinema is to go to a movie on Monday. You see, most people nowadays get around to seeing a movie inside the darkened confines of a movie theater on the opening weekend or the weekend after. Thursday used to be the best night to go to movies thanks to NBC's Must-See TV lineup; choosing between a movie and classic sitcoms on Thursday night hasn't really been a problem the past decade. Even so, Monday remains the absolutely best time to see even a bona-fide box office champ without having to worry about A) getting a ticket or B) finding seats together.
