President George W. Bush is scheduled to give his last State of the Union at 8 p.m. Tuesday, January 28. Many are already trying to predict what he will discuss in this speech, and what he will have to say about the topics that he brings up. Here are my predictions for his last State of the Union.

With recent talks about the big R-word, I think that many Americans are waiting to hear what President Bush has to say about the state of our nation's economy.
There have been serious talks about economic stimulus packages and rebate checks for those who make around $100,000 a year or less. With the recent activity of the stock market and the state of the nation's middle class, I am sure that President Bush, in his State of the Union, will at least touch on what he believes needs to be done about our currently fragile economy, and how he plans to work with Congress to get said things done.

Surely, if President Bush does address the current state of our nation's economy in his State of the Union, he will make some mention of keeping America at the top of the global economy, it's just his style, "America Rocks!".

Iraq, Iraq, Iraq. It is hard to imagine President Bush making any public speech, especially a State of the Union, without at least a quick mention of Iraq and the war on terror. Maybe he will even mention what color threat level we are currently at and what that means for our nation. If anyone can keep track of what in the heck the colors mean, please drop me an e-mail when you are done reading this article.

This was an insightful article. He did talk about the war. I hate to say that I was so tired, I kept dosing off during the address.
