No NKOTB...It's Okay Their Are Aways Others

As much as I'd love to do the running man in the living room of my house to my favorite NKOTB song, The Right Stuff Baby-I am going to have to leave that CD on the shelf. The iconic boy band has shot down rumors of a reunion tour. Much to my dismay, I am left to wait for the return of some of my other favorite bands that I would love to see on stage.

First on my list is the soulful R and B group Jodeci. The group consists of DeVante Swing (Donald DeGrate, Jr.) Mr. Dalvin (Dalvin DeGrate) and brothers K-Ci (Cedric Hailey) Jo-Jo (Joel Hailey). Despite the one song reunion in 2005, they are still one of the most memorable groups in R and B history. After numerous #1 hits including Forever My Lady, Stay and Come and Talk to me left the band at the top of the charts. There was talk of a reunion and a new album in 2006, but nothing has come of that so far.

Another band I have never had the pleasure of seeing live would be the Red Hot Chili Peppers. This awesome rock band had been around the block and back again more times than we can count. They continue to reinvent themselves to create a larger fan base than they had before. Their sting of number 1 hits include "Give it Away" and "Californication" just to name a couple. (To list them all would be an entire article). The Peppers consists of vocalist Anthony Kedis (who was kicked out for a short time due to drug abuse), bassist Michael "Flea" Balzary and Drummer Chad Smith. According to www.wikipedia.org, "Flea" got his nickname from a ski with Slovak and Kiedis and used this nickname since he was always hopping around like a flea. Slovak was an earlier member and was found dead of a Speedball overdose in 1988.
