The L Word - New Actress, New Club, New Beginning

The process to bring Lez Girls to the big screen is underway. Tina, Jenny and other Shaolin employees are holding auditions for the role of Jessie (Jenny). The first actress was on the bland side. The second, an up and coming actress named Niki Stevens looks to have snagged the role; as far as Tina is concerned. The third girl however was likened very much by Jenny because of her aggressiveness and the way she slapped the production assistant. Tina shows the tape to Aaron who agrees that Niki is the right girl for the role of Jessie, much to Jenny's anguish. She and Aaron get into a heated argument about having or not having Niki in the movie. Jenny orders Adele to make a call to William who is in Geneva and he too, according to Aaron, likes Niki for the movie. They continue to argue about what's more important for the movie; with Aaron hitting his breaking point saying that Niki is in or there's no movie as Jenny storms out. Adele makes the excuse that Jenny is trying to quit smoking and she'll come around. Aaron just wants things to run well for the movie.

The girls join Kit in a self-defense class due to the robbery at The Planet which is temporarily closed; they talk about getting together and going to the new lesbian club, SheBar. While doing training exercises, a few conversations ensue. One about a party Alice plans to take Tasha, Jenny going on about how every lesbian in the club would want to be in her movie. Tina's new lady friend Brenda is a topic for discussion and this catches Bette's ear. Her jealousy escalates when she hears that Tina not only slept with her on the first night but she's meeting her at SheBar that night; alarming Jodi.
