Best friends forever? Or should I say, until time changes everything? I had one of the best friends anyone could wish for. Nothing came between us and we shared everything.

But now, looking back, our relationship is different. Everyone has a couple of people they may believe to be "best friends" in their lifetime. Only one usually stays in the picture. It was comforting thinking about all the times we shared together, all the fun we had, knowing that I would never find a friend as amazing as her.

But drama always happens between friends. We had some ups and downs, yes, but we understood each other. It wasn't always about going out and having fun, or trying to get into trouble. Our close times were spent sitting around and talking about everything. We knew that we would always have fun together, even if we had nothing planned. Knowing we were going through the same things, and being able to relate and vent when we needed to made a big difference in our lives.

But how does moving on and growing up make everything change between friends? Losing the one thing you thought you never would is very hard. Nothing had ever come between us, and we had kept nothing from each other. A huge void happens when friendships fall apart. Now, with all the time we've missed, it's hard to say whether we will ever be able to mend the problems.

Going from talking every single day, to talking every other month is a hard switch. But with all the memories we shared and all the things that happened, I can honestly say I won't ever forget her. I guess that's were the quote "best friends forever" comes from.

It's funny how things like that work. Everyone has different paths in there future and everyone has at least one best friend. Not knowing what road you will take will become difficult in the long run. Actually sticking together is something that I haven't even accomplished.

She always gave me the strength to pull through. She helped me through a lot of ups and downs I had in my life. I do believe that God sent her to me, maybe to show me how to think on the positive side instead of the negative.
