A true friend is suppose to always have your back
and when you are steering off coarse
they are suppose to put you on the right track.
A true friend is suppose to stick by your side
and when you have BEEF
they are the first ones down to ride.
A true friend is quick to give and slow to take
they don't talk behind your back
conspiring to take your place.
A true friend keeps you in there thoughts
they are optimistic inspiration
they are someone you can trust.
A true friend is hard to find
and rarely ever found
they are the ones that value you
regardless if you are UP or DOWN.
A true friend is the individual
who had a good intention from the start
A true friend is forever remembered
because they leave an imprint embedded in your heart.

Yeah, I go with Harry, as the old saying, A friend in need is a friend indeed" Yes a friend who is ready to help out when his or her friend faces problems and difficulties is a true friend. whereas others will disappear when trouble comes. A thought provoking poem. Thank you for sharing. Philip
