Review of 1900 Park Fare Restaurant at Walt Disney World, Florida
Disney's Grand Floridian Resort and Spa

This review is based on our reservations last week for breakfast. I cannot think of one bad think to say about 1900 Park Fare. Our family absolutely loved this restaurant, the food and the characters. I had wanted to try this character breakfast for a long time and was finally able to work it in this trip. The 1900 Park Fare is located at the Grand Floridian Resort and Spa. One quick tip - parking is across the street from the resort, so it is a bit of a walk. (Then again, everything at Disney is a bit of a walk.) A great tip if you're running late and need to check in for your ADR (Advance Dining Reservation). If there are more than two of you dining, have the driver drop you off in front of the resort entrance so you can check in at the restaurant while they go and park the car.
When you are seated, your waitress comes out and pours fresh orange juice and coffee. You can place an order for other beverages but the usual morning "wake-up" drink was fine for us. Now to the food! I have to say they do have many unusual breakfast items, but it's not a bad thing. I loved all of them. Examples: Lobster Eggs Benedict - very good, Strawberry Soup - it was like a chilled strawberry puree and Mary Poppins says it's her favorite, of course an item we found on most character breakfasts - smoked salmon and cream cheese (which the whole family can't get enough of, it's a favorite snack at home too) and believe it or not soft serve ice cream. If any of those items above do not seem appetizing they also have - breads, pastries, yogurt, fresh fruit, cereal, an omelet station, bacon, sausage, scrambled eggs, pancakes, waffles and many more items.
Breakfast is $18.99 for adults and $10.99 for kids 3-9. Characters are always subject to change and you are told this information when you call to make a reservation. Our characters were Alice in Wonderland, Mad Hatter, Winnie the Pooh, Tigger, and Mary Poppins.
Reservations can be made 180 days in advance. Any Disney dining reservation can be made by calling 1-407-WDW-DINE.
