John Mark Karr will not be charged with JonBenet Ramsey's murder.  The DNA does not match.  This comes after a two week onslaught from the media in which the Karr story became bigger news than a judge ruling that Pres. Bush's spying program is illegal.

This comes after the news media pushed the deaths of who even knows how many Americans in Iraq - since I never heard how many Americans were killed in the past two weeks in Iraq - back to the middle of the paper.

CNN gave us live updates on what Karr ate and drank on his plane flight home.  The plane carrying those dead bodies from Iraq received no updates.

John Mark Karr should stand as a shining beacon to CNN, MSNBC, Fox, ABC, CBS, NBC and every other broadcast news outlet in America pause to reconsider what is really a story that needs to be told and what isn't.

Of course, it won't.

By next week they'll be covering the story that guy who is confessing to killing Nicole Brown Simpson and Ron Goldman...during broad daylight....in Times Square...with a gun.

Wow! I am in the military and in our dining facility the entire unit was cheering as we watched the "capture" on CNN. They discussed Karr's last drink of wine/champagne, well, I guess he'll be having a little toast with a new little date somewhere in CA. Let's all hope she's old enough to drink! We are so quick to condemn a person. Our country needs to start getting all the facts before we just assume things ie, I haven't heard much about chemical weapons in IRAQ either? There weren't any! That was our mission, to remove all weapons of mass destruction especially RELATED TO: chemical weapons. I guess we'll just manage Bush/Halliburton's new oil wells instead!

AAAAAAmen! Aren't we still at war here people?! Talk about wagging the dog.....like the white house doesn't have total control over the information blah, blah, blahhed to us every minute. All negative press regarding the Bush Administration always seems to get shuffled in behind Paris Hilton's latest boy toy or earth shattering news of McDonalds offering a new menu item. Americans are losing thier lives in/for the middle East everyday. Families are losing father's, sons and brothers yet we're hearing about the daily menu of the Colorado prison?? What an insult to everyone involved. Thanks Mr. President, hilarity ensues.

The news people are certainly very, very ,shallow and I am glad that they are not any of my friends. This broadcast society is sick and getting sicker every day. When you become desensitized to our troops plight and the loss of these young men ,it truly a sad news effort in America.
