Erin Go Brea, and Tampa Go Brea, Too!

Gather your Shamrocks and Shillelagh's, its Saint Patty's Day in Tampa Florida. The city barely has time to recover from Gasparilla, the Florida Sate Fair and the Strawberry Festival, before it is time to roll out the blarney stone and celebrate in the grand style of the Irish. Tampa, a melting pot of cultures, invites everyone to become Irish for the night, if not Irish at least imbibe in a little Irish luck and spirit, so grab your best redheaded friend, gather ye four leaf clovers, as well as ye lucky charms and let's go!

During the day, the Saint Patrick's Catholic Church is sponsoring the Saint Patrick's Day Family Fun Fest and Craft Fair with rides, fun and games along with free pony rides for the children. Arts and Crafts booths will be set up, and there will be food, lots of good food, like barbecue, corned beef cabbage and soft drinks. The Saint Patrick's Day Family Funfest, held at Saint Patrick's Catholic Church, 4518 S. Manhattan Avenue, Tampa, Florida, runs Saturday, March 17, 2008 from 10:00 am until 7:00 pm, ending just in time for the family to make the annual Saint Patrick's Day Parade in Ybor City, Tampa.
