Star Wars fans are very intriqued with the idea of tweaking with George Lucas' original designs. I've seen people come up with Darth Maul's doublesided laser in Mace Windu's purple or put Luke's handle on Yoda's blade. Of course, some people want to stick with the original, but they also want a higher quality power source. They are not happy with the FX light sources and want a custom LED or Luxeon.

I have spent many hours searching online for high quality LED and luxeon sabers and here's what I have come up. Without fail, Ebay is the best place to get custom sabers. One tip, if you are new to Ebay, don't bid until the end of the auction (unless the item is "Buy It Now". Bidding early only draws attention to your interest in the item and usually other inexperienced bidders will jump on and artificially inflate the price.
