Which Roller Hockey Wheels Should One Buy?
80mm, 76mm, and 72mm are the size of the wheels, for most roller hockey skates. Many skates require four, 80mm wheels, on each skate, another brand of skate may require two, 72mm wheel, in the two front positions, and two, 80mm wheels, in the two back positions, and another company may have their skates set up like this, one 72mm wheel in the front, one 80mm wheel in the back, and two 76mm between the two, that particular set up is costly. Once one knows the set up for their skates, they can buy the appropriate size which will fit each skate. If one is to purchase a brand of skate which requires two 76mm, an 80mm and one 72mm, some hockey shops will allow you to buy wheels individually, where others do not, but first shop around before you spend an extra fifty dollars on wheels which are not needed.
