The Hispanic vote will play a major role in picking the Democratic Party Presidential Nominee. The Hispanic community has historically voted as a block that is able to sway an election either way. In 1996, in his bid for reelection, Bill Clinton picked up 90% of the Hispanic vote in California, giving him the state and a victory over his republican rival, Bob Dole. If both Nevada and Florida is of any indication, Hillary Rodham Clinton will receive a resounding support among the Hispanic community in California and other states on Super Tuesday. It could be the factor that decides this election.

Another key factor is the female vote and the white male vote. With Edwards out of the race, the white vote split that existed will be united behind Clinton. Some of the votes Edwards had will go to Obama, but very little. By all probability, Edwards dropping out at this phase of the race, Hillary will benefit the most. For Obama to win the party nomination, he will have to gain enough support from democrats. That will be difficult since he has neglected that block in the past 5 early states.
