I found myself tooling down Interstate 71 heading towards Mansfield, Ohio, when my stomach signaled to me it was dinner time. My traveling companions agreed, so we pulled into the Bob Evans Restaurant that's located at I-71 and State Route 13. We could have eaten at Applebee's, Cracker Barrel or El Campasino, not to mention all the fast food places that cover the landscape there. But I remembered visiting the same Bob Evans a few years ago and having a delicious meal. So we decided to stop back and have another savory dinner. Read this Bob Evans Restaurant in Mansfield, Ohio: Restaurant Review and find out why, if you ever find yourself in this area, you should drive on by this eatery! Our Arrival
The three of us walked into the restaurant around 5 o'clock. For being early, and a week night, the place was fairly busy serving hungry customers. Still, we were seated, served our drinks and asked for our orders in just a few minutes. We appreciated the waitress' good manners and punctuality.
Orders, Please
One advantage I like about Bob Evans Restaurants is that they serve breakfast all day long. I've always enjoyed their breakfasts. From the dinner menu, we could have chosen Chicken-N-Noodles served with a salad; a Fried Chicken Dinner with mashed potatoes and glazed baby carrots; Steak Tips & Noodles and a garden salad; Meatloaf and Gravy, mashed potatoes and green beans; Open-Faced Roast Beef and Gravy served with mashed potatoes and glazed baby carrots, or, Country-Fried Steak with gravy, mashed potatoes and green beans. We all chose the latter. Unfortunately, our choice was based on the fact that, it was the same meal I ordered during my last visit to this restaurant. I love chicken. And the Country-Fried Steak I had had was absolutely delicious. But, that was then, and this is now...
