Vinnie's Italian Restaurant & Pizzeria in Barnegat, New Jersey: Restaurant Review

My younger daughter will be making her First Holy Communion in May. I usually do all of the cooking for our family events and parties, but I have decided to give myself a break this time and have the party catered. After getting several recommendations from family and friends, I have a good sized list of possible restaurants to consider. One restaurant that was recommended several times was Vinnie's Italian Restaurant & Pizzeria in Barnegat, New Jersey. My husband and I had never eaten at Vinnie's, although we have lived in Barnegat for eight years. It was time to give this restaurant a try. Vinnie's Italian Restaurant & Pizzeria is located at 885 West Bay Avenue in Barnegat, New Jersey.

My family and I arrived at Vinnie's around Five PM on a Friday night. Immediately upon entering the restaurant, a delicious aroma greeted us. The restaurant was warm and cozy and the appetizing scents made my stomach rumble in anticipation. Vinnie's Italian Restaurant & Pizzeria is decorated in the traditional red and white motif of Italian Restaurants. There are several booths in the front section of the restaurant as well as a large dining room in the back with tables for larger parties. We were lucky enough to score a booth, since my children enjoy being close and cozy when eating out.

A server approached us within moments with menus. After placing our drink orders, we perused the menu. The menu is expansive, with a vast array of Appetizers, Entrees, Seafood, Pasta and Baked Dishes. Hamburgers, Cheese steaks, Soups and Cold Subs are also available. We finally settled on an order of Antipasto, Baked Ziti, several slices of White Pizza and two orders of Spaghetti With Meat Sauce and a Meatball. Since I was considering using Vinnie's to cater my daughter's First Holy Communion party, I wanted to sample as many different dishes as I could in one visit.
