San's Pizzeria in Simi Valley

One of our favorite things to do in Southern California is enjoy all the outdoor activities there are all the time. Whether it is outdoor dining or outdoor shopping, the weather in California is often very conducive to the Zen of activities. So it is no surprise that one of our favorite places to go is the Simi Valley Town Center. A huge stretch of shopping and dining and carousing, Simi Valley Town Center has a number of attractions for the curious visitor.

One of these attractions is a great place to both eat and relax; The Original San's Pizzeria (1555 Simi Town Center Way). Available for both eating in, taking out, delivery, curbside pickup, or other larger catering events, San's pizzeria offers a whole host of excellent options for your dining pleasure.

We were recently able to go there a number of times and enjoy a couple different flavors of San's. Most recently we were there for lunch and I was able to enjoy a hot turkey sub which came with provolone cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion, and had mayonnaise which was not put on when he was cooking it but he ran it out for me after the fact. The truth was that the delicious sandwich didn't even need the mayonnaise and it never ended up using any of it. It was on toasted wheat bread and it was put into the oven as a calzone or pizza pie is which gave it that extra crispy flavor.

My companion on this day was able to enjoy a Panini. Filled with the grilled chicken breasts, spinach, lettuce, tomato, and mustard this creation was also very delicious and decadent quite filling.

On another occasion we were at this wonderful pizzeria we were able to enjoy pizza. Pizza is their specialty and according to their literature "San's homemade dough is a family recipe using nothing but the finest ingredients to give you a crispy, tender crust. We also use unique blend of cheese and make our own pizza sauce from scratch."
