A List of Wii Launch Titles

After the now defunct E3, Nintendo is running out the gate towards the Christmas season this year.  With their constant banter about the successful Nintendo DS, as well as their new Wii system
coming out later in this year, it seems like there is no way to stop Nintendo at the moment.  With that said, the list of games expected at launch is an array of games to please everyone in your household.  With the fan dubbed “Wii-mote” at everyone’s disposal, it also seems that the system may just relate to gamers and non-gamers alike; Nintendo true goal with the Wii.

The games that many should pick up when Wii launches are:

The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess

One of Nintendo’s premiere series is getting an incredible makeover when it comes time for the Wii to launch.  Confirmed as a dual-platform launch game (planned to be released on both the Gamecube and the Wii), this has been eye candy to many fans since it was announced.  Many gamers are itching to get their hands on this game due to it’s improved graphics, new weapons, and, of course, it’s a Zelda game.  The developers of this game have already dubbed it the “best Zelda game ever”, so it has a lot to live up to.  It will be the same story on the both platform, with only minor differences on the Wii itself.  The game will use the Wii-mote on the Wii to control Link, as well as control his sword and array of weaponry he will receive throughout the game.  The Wii-mote will also be used to solve certain puzzles that may be in the Wii version of the game.  This game is definitely a must buy on launch, with the only question being which platform to pick it up for.

Metroid Prime 3: Corruptions

  • Metroid Prime 3 is the third in a Trilogy.
  • Nintendo has already declared Twilight Princess the "Best Zelda Game Ever".
  • The controller for the Wii has been dubbed the "Wii-Mote"

Trauma Center: Second Opinoin is Actuly a remake of the DS version with a charicter selection type mechinisum and some more missions added on. And the best thing added is a difficulty setting seeing as the first version for DS was next to impossible by the end of the game.
zelda and metroid prime is a must buy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Don't forget about the Virtual Console! ;)
I think this article is biased in my opinion. I tried to get the games many people are more than likely going to buy when Wii launches. I know there will be more, but I can't very well preview them all, can I? XD
