One might be tempted to think that just because the majority agrees on an early spring--it's going to be true. Well, as with any Supreme Court decision--it might fall within the law, but it doesn't necessarily mean reality works in tandem. Don't tell that to General Beauregard Lee, a prominent groundhog in Atlanta, Georgia who has honorary PHD's in Weather Prognostication and Southern Groundology. While sitting on those laurels--he claims to have a 94% accuracy rate in guessing what's going to happen every winter. Of course, he and Punxsutawny Phil have their political differences and probably don't "get" one another based on the huge divide of understanding between groundhogs from the south and the north. Reports are that, for the last several years, the two have differed in opinion on the early arrival of spring. Then there was that time people almost put dynamite down Beauregard's hole in the ground when he predicted an early spring and a major snowstorm befell Atlanta.
