Are you a government employee in the state of Washington? Maybe you are an employee in a public elementary school, high school, or a state funded college or university. If this describes your employment status you are eligible for membership in the Washington State Employees Credit Union.

Washington State Employees Credit Union offers many valuable tools for members of the credit union. Perhaps the most valuable tool offered by WSECU is free online banking for credit union members. In today's busy word the necessity for fast service is becoming more and more important. Online banking allows Washington State Employee Credit Union members to access their accounts at any time from their home computer. This allows them to avoid long lines at branch offices and freedom to complete transactions 24 hours a day from the privacy of their home or office. Online services offered by Washington State Employees Credit Union include free bill pay services, ability to view current and past statements, check imaging which allows members to view images of checks that have cleared the credit union, and the ability to order additional checks online.

In addition to online banking Washington State Employees Credit Union allows members to have their paychecks deposited directly into their accounts to avoid delays in receiving paychecks. This service can be set up easily with your employer and is used by many members. Those interested in the direct deposit program should contact WSECU for additional information including routing number and account number.

For those wishing to avoid online banking or who need to visit a branch in person to deal with their money, Washington State Employees Credit Union offers twenty branch locations throughout the state. Most of these branches are open Monday through Friday until 5 pm and on Saturday until 2 pm. In addition to the branch locations Washington State Employees Credit Union offers ATM's in twelve Washington cities.
