Super bowl Sunday is a big day for any and all football fans. The action doesn't have to just take place on the field or at the stadium, a lot of the action takes place inside our homes, the homes of the fans. Super bowl Sunday usually starts out with one person getting up early to start cooking and preparing for the guests that are about to attend their Super bowl party. It then goes on to include the members attending the party traveling to the host's house to begin a long day of football and friends. Many parties of course are made up of getting drunk and fighting mad over who is rooting for what team and a lot of times end in stupid fights. In our family however this is not the case. We usually get together as a church group to watch the game and make it more than just an opportunity to watch a football game. Our parties usually consist of a whole day of fun, games, and food. We always have a big chicken or turkey baked and its almost like Thanksgiving and Christmas all in one, without the presents and unwelcome family members.
Super bowl Sunday is a wonderful day for all football fans and being able to meet up with friends and family and watch the game while spending time with them makes it even more special. We have the traditional foods set on the table, of course added to the football favorites like hot dogs, hamburgers, nachos, and meatballs. The Super bowl for us is like having 3 four-course meals with friends and being able to watch television in the process. Every year it is at someone else's house, most of the time whom ever has the largest television at the time or whom ever has the biggest kitchen.
