I love movies. I look forward to seeing almost every movie that comes out. There's always a question of whether or not it's a good movie. As a seriously moviegoer, you've got to keep your mind open. Perhaps the most unlikely film will be your favorite film of the year. You never know. So I have gone ahead, taken a look at some movies coming out in March and I decided to give my readers a glimpse at some of those movies. Once you've read what I've got to say, it'll be up to you whether or not you want to see the films listed below.21
Directed by Robert Luketic
Written by Ben Mezrich, Peter Steinfeld, and Allan Loeb
Starring Kevin Spacey, Jim Sturgess and Kate Bosworth, 21 looks like a fun, smart and witty movie about wise-cracking MIT students trying to score it big in Vegas. Mickey Rosa (Spacey) brings this group of brainiacs together, forming a blackjack team. With a few winks, a few hand gestures, the MIT students rob a few casinos before the authorities catch on. The movie may look like a run at the popularity of Ocean's 11, but I believe this may be even more hip than that. Sturgess plays Ben Campbell, the lead protagonist, the guy who does the right thing when everything else goes bad. Bosworth plays Jill Taylor, his love interest. Sure, we don't have the likes of George Clooney or Brad Pitt taking down casinos, but we do have Kevin Spacey. I know he hasn't been putting out a lot of hits lately, but Spacey has proven time and time again that he is a great actor. Look at all of his accomplishments; American Beauty, The Usual Suspects, L.A. Confidential. Finally, I'll definitely be there to see 21 on March 28th.
