The New York Giants had one heck of a run en route to their franchises third Superbowl win in Superbowl XLII.

It is quite amazing to think about everything that they went through to get to their most recent championship. Afterall, it didn't start off as it was supposed to. As I detail in my original "Song of Redemption" article, the Giants 0-2 start is just the tip of the iceberg in relation to everything they overcame throughout the 2007-2008 NFL Regular and Post seasons.

But forget about what happened during their regular season and NFC post season of redemption. The redemption they went through in the two weeks preceding their Superbowl victory were more than enough be worthy of Redemption Song Remix.

First of all, the whole ordeal with Tom Brady and his injured ankle seemed like another smack in the face. I personally think he was playing with media, and even he himself admitted in an interview with Terry Bradshaw that he was at least playing with the media to a certain degree. So apparently Tom Brady has the audacity to play with the media, the Patriots and Giants fans, and most importantly, with the Giants coaching staff during the week of the Superbowl. I'm sure nobody on the Giants took it seriously, but the fact that he would even play such games on platform of such high magnitude is disrespectful to the Giants and their attempts to get ready for the game. But Brady is free to do whatever he wants, and I wish he would play with the media this week leading up to the Pro-Bowl, but for some reason he's electing not to be around.
