Tonight is the night for you and your loved one to have some private time together. Maybe you both have so been busy working and dealing with other activities; that is has been over a week or two since your last date. Maybe, it has been a few months since the kids have been out of the house for a sleep over and now you want to make the most of it. Whatever the reason, you two will have the opportunity to relax and enjoy each other without interruptions. Going out on the town might be a great option with dinner, dancing and a movie but a better idea may be to just stay in.By staying in you can surprise the other partner with a Just Us Date. A few days prior to your date, gather three to five of your favorite photographs of each other and convert them into black and white print that will make a card . Once you have made the greeting card inside write about those pictures and what that time meant to you . Just remember that your words do not have to be embellished or sound like a prized prose, it just has to be your words and your honest thoughts. Once you are done leave the card for that special someone in a place you know they will see it , such as their car. You can even go as far as leaving a carnation by the card or a gift card for a cup of coffee, whatever that person likes. This will set the mood for happiness and romance.
The day of the date, set a romantic table for two by using black or red table cloth with your best dinnerware. Take a glass vase and put one long stem rose or your partner's favorite flower in it. Set your radio to some soft jazz music or any soft tunes that you can hear but it will not take away from the mood you are setting.
Your food selection for this date should be items that are light and will not settle heavy . Also choose a wine that will compliment your food choices. Some suggestions are sushi rolls, grilled tuna, shrimp, and fruit such as pineapple, strawberries and mango. Your entrée does not have to be exquisite, it just has be to tasty enough to make the senses be engaged.
