Amongst all sorts of things that you can do in Cleveland, Ohio, volunteering may be one of them. Volunteering is a wonderful way to spend your extra time. It is fulfilling and rewarding. I want to take this time to share some of the marvelous ways that you can volunteer your time in Cleveland, Ohio.

The Cleveland Metroparks is always looking for volunteers. They are required to have background checks because of their interaction with children. you will be interactive with children as a volunteer. Some of the things that you may be able to volunteer in includes the Brecksville Nature Center where you help with the Fall Fest and Floating Lab. Help at the Canal Way Center with city tours and become an information desk assistant. Work for Natural Resources Research with plant removal and taking raptor surveys. How does volunteering in the Cleveland National Forest sound to you? It is a swell idea for those who love nature. The Luguna Mountain Association is an organization of volunteers that work closely with the United States National Forest Service. Wanna play a little? Boy do I have the game for you, right here in Cleveland, Ohio. No seriously, you may want to volunteer at the Cleveland Play House. It is a nationally renowned theatre. You may be asked to assist in the usher program or with special events. Help with fair, festivals and events. You may even be asked to conduct tours or use for office tours. I totally love forests...I know this would be a fun way to volunteer..and have fun all at the same time !!!

These are great ideas for those who have the time and want to help others. I do volunteer work and it is the most rewarding kind other than with family.
