I was watching the last Republican debate before Super Tuesday and was somewhat appalled. I wanted to see Ron Paul get some media attention on CNN and I guess that was asking a bit much. The first question was to be for each candidate and it starting out with Mitt Romney. He was asked if they thought America was better off than it was four years ago. Romney's bigheaded response soaked in self-absorption made me chuckle a little. "Well, if you're voting for George Bush, you'd be very interested in knowing the answer to that. If you're voting for Mitt Romney, you'd like to know, "Are you better off in Massachusetts after four years of my term in office?" And the answer would be decidedly, yes."

Well, then. I've always disliked people who refer to themselves in the third person, it screams out EGO way to loud for my tastes, and since when was Massachusetts the reigning factor in whether America's better off? I know they brought us the Fig Newton and the birth control pill, but damn.

After a long, drawn out response from the other candidates (and after skipping over to Huckabee, even though Ron Paul was 3rd in the seating positions) Paul finally got to answer the question.
