What I feel today won't
Be the same tomorrow
Today I am ecstatic, joyful
And so utterly happy
Tomorrow I am sad, depressed
And so utterly hopeless
Why does this happen? I ask
If I did not feel different today from
Tomorrow then where would I be?
Feelings come from the heart,
So I must be living for without it
There would be no existence
So with every beat there must be
A Reason or I would never have
A brand new feeling

I wonder...can we ever truly predict how we're going to feel tomorrow? I think I'd only be able to compare today to how I felt yesterday...but you have me thinking.
