In His Dreams: An Exclusive Interview with G. Michael Gray on His Role in Supernatural's Dream a Little Dream of Me
In the next brand new episode of the hit Warner Brother's series Supernatural, which airs on the CW Network tomorrow night, February 7th at 9PM EST, Sam and Dean Winchester (Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles) meet up with a young college graduate named Jeremy Frost who has the power to enter people's dreams and keep them locked in their own best fantasies or worst nightmares.
G. Michael Gray who plays the role of Jeremy Frost in the Supernatural season three episode, Dream a Little Dream of Me (written by Sera Gamble), is very excited to have finally landed a guest spot on the show.
"According to my records this was the sixth time I had read for Supernatural," Gray tells us. "Each audition they would say I was great and then give the part to someone else. Lucky for me when I read for the character of Jeremy Frost I was a perfect fit and they said "no" to a bunch of other guys. Still, six auditions before booking a show isn't too bad. There are other shows I've read for a crazy number of times."
Numerous auditions aside, G. Michael Gray, who hails from Trail, British Columbia Canada, is an actor with a very impressive list of credits to his name, including many scifi genre shows such as Dark Angel, Tru Calling, Jeremiah and most recently Blood Ties and Pain Killer Jane. All of this experience with the world of supernatural type series made him a perfect choice to end up in a guest starring role on Supernatural as Jeremy Frost
Finally scoring a guest starring gig on Supernatural didn't come without its down side for Gray though who had to turn down a role in Smallville, which was another series he had been auditioning for.
"I think after reading for fifteen different characters on Smallville, I finally booked a part. But as irony would have it, I had to turn the role down because it conflicted with the shooting schedule for Supernatural."
