Heidi Montag Hot? Did She Finally Pass Lauren on the Popularity Scale?

Heidi Montag, of "The Hills" on MTV, may have finally beat out Lauren Conrad in the attention department. Both women have been on the cover of major magazines in the past few months, but Heidi Montag's cover seems like a higher accomplishment, or maybe lower, depending on your opinion of the publications. Heidi Montag landed the "Maxim" cover for February 2008, a very lusty month, and Lauren Conrad was on the January 2008 issue of the more wholesome (but still sold with a bikini on the cover) "Shape" Magazine.

Heidi Montag's new song and video Higher has been released, or unleashed on the world. I am at a loss. She is very blond, and very skinny and very beach-bunny like and she sure seems happy. I am not a music critic, but I don't know how well she can actually sing. I couldn't listen to the whole song. I am sorry, but it hurt my ears. And my feet. And my neighbor's dog's ears.

But that's okay, Heidi Montag, because that bikini will keep the video in popular rotation. The world needs a new bikini blond, with Britney struggling in her own world, and Christina Aguilera and her her beautiful post-baby body. So enter Heidi Montag and her bikini, and her new scientifically-made, man-made breasts.

Heidi Montag was been made to be the bad girl as the seasons of The Hills progressed. In her video, she's just a girl on the beach having a good time singing to herself. She has a body that fits the perfect Hollywood mold of the day, so why not show it off?
