Chef Institute for Kids Summer Camp

Chef Institute for Kids Summer Camp is the ideal summer program for today's Junior Top Chef. This summer enroll your Junior Top Chef in one of the most exciting and fun summer programs in San Diego designed for children with an interest in cooking and becoming a Chef.

The Chef Institute for Kids Summer Camp, which is part of the 2008 College for Kids, is offering a Junior Chef Program for Kids at Classical Academy. The unique cooking class will be held June 30 through July 3^rd. This is a unique opportunity for children who have a love for cooking and for the kitchen.

It is exposure to unique summer classes for as this particular one offered through College for Kids Summer 2008, that provides a possible early experience to what may be a an actual career choice for a child.

The Chef Institute for Kids Summer Camp is a hands-on opportunity for children to work in a professional cooking environment while having fun. The hands-on techniques offered for the summer campers through Chef Institute's summer program for kids not only allows them to cook, but also to learn to cook healthy. Children are taught how to modify their favorite dishes where they are still good but also healthy.

Like professional Chefs and Culinary Arts students in college and professional programs, the Junior Chefs participating in the Chef Institute for Kids Summer Camp learn some of the same basic techniques including those related to food safety and sanitation.

Additionally, like professional Chefs and students enrolled in professional and college level programs, summer campers in the Chef Institute summer program also learn the culture and history of the many different types of foods.

The Chef Institute for Kids Summer Camp is designed for children between the ages of 5^th through 8^th grades. The hours for attendance at Chef Institute for Kids Summer Camp is between the hours of 9:00AM and 12:00PM. The fee for attendance to the unique junior cooking school is $200.00 per child.
