In what is most likely a very bold move and example, it appears that you can now watch Television online for free. Online TV, or IPTV as it is better known as, is not something new or revolutionary. In fact, during the early pioneering days of the Internet, many software alternatives were sold presumably as a means for savvy college students to catch up on their favorite television shows. However, in its more early incarnations, IPTV was very crude and was limited to the low speed internet connections available to consumers. Yet now with the increasingly widespread and higher accessibility of broadband connections, or rather high speed internet connections, multimedia broadcasting and IPTV have become possible.

Nowadays, we have high speed connections capable of transferring high quality video and images in a matter of seconds. A picture can be taken in Moscow and instantaneously received in the most remote areas of say Africa. Technology has not only increased our potential, but also made it possible to increase our efficiency. But with all these efficient and productive advantages of technology, we also possess the ability to take our procrastination and laziness to new heights. Where the Internet was once meant for transferring a few text documents, and occasional images, we now have the ability to watch feature length films online, as well tv shows and various stunt clips. Sites like YouTube pander to the voyeur of such worlds, with the quickest of clicks a signal is sent and within minutes a user can be viewing the latest music videos or just the heart-felt emotions of a pre-pubescent teen.

Takeaways
  • Technological Advances are now accomodating more diverse media.
  • YouTube panders to a market hungry for sample sized doses of media and viral videos.
  • FreeTube is a new service that seems to let users watch tv online for free.

Luis you're such a liar. IPTV is streaming video that connects by the IP protocol. So in a way this is sorta IPTV. And not all IPTV has to connect through a set-top box, hence JumpTV would not be considered IPTV. IPTV requires an internet connection, so you can't watch it offline otherwise it would just be video on demand. I checked out the freetube.co.nr and it redirects to the freetube.us.tc one which is the legitimate site that works. I don't know what adult site your talking about Luis but you seem to be full of crap and having looked at your other comments on AssociatedContent I've noticed that all you do is try to dermit the articles of others and instead promote yourself. Seriously get a life, and you really need to educate yourself before you speak.

One thing first IPTV doesn't mean Online TV oor Internet TV it's actually called Interactive TV or broadband TV, they call it like that because is not TV channels that you can watch online, this are online or offline TV programming that you can watch on a TV with an IPTV set-top-box which is connected to a broadband service.... Second, the two FreeTube sites don't work, actually th FreeTube.co.nr redirect you to an adult related web site...
