ST Jude's Telethon on WPOC Radio

I am from Baltimore MD and since yesterday morning, a local radio station WPOC has been sponsoring a telethon to raise money for St Jude's Hospital. I had a brother who died from cancer a few years ago. THis is such a worthwhile program, the money that is being donated is for cancer research for children. St Jude's is a non profit organization they are really into the children. I don't know how many of you remember Danny THomas, but he was a great supporter of St. Jude.

They have some of the most gifted researchers and docotrs working on finding a cure for this deadly desease. St Jude's never requests funds from parent of seriously ill childern, no one is truned away because they do not have the funds or insurance to pay for the treatment. It is such a worthwhile cause. I would hope that everyone looks at their good health and the blessings they have with their own children and consider this worthwhile cause.
