I am a complete Lost addict. I love the way this show draws you in and places small clues in unlikely places. Sometimes I have to re-watch an episode three and four time, just to assure myself that I caught everything, which I never do. My Lost Easter Egg obsession is now your gain. If I missed anything, please please tell me in the comments below. I would love a great conversation about theories and such in the comments too.

The main question for episode 2 season 4 "Confirmed Dead," for me is, were we watching flash backs or flash forwards this time? The newest members to our island didn't give much information to decide. Many say it was a flash back for the simple reason that they say there were no survivors. But think about it. Dan started crying when the wreckage was shown on tv, and the woman with him asked him why it is affecting him that way. He said he had no idea. It is my belief that he is crying because knows he left so many people there to die. Frank, the pilot saying he knew it wasn't the pilot because of the wedding ring, while this has been proven to be true with old screen caps Frank could have also known because he knew how the pilot really died. When Charlotte found the Hydra Dharma symbol on the collar belonging to the polar bear she smiled like she had seen it before. And Miles went to a house and found a bag with money and what looked like heroin in it. Who on the island do we know that dealt in heroin and is also dead, that could have spoken with our ghost buster at some time in the future island time.

This show confuses me, yet the confusion is wonderful!!!

Lost is the most amazing TV series ever!!! My husband and I are so addicted to it, it's crazy....lol, we have bought each of the seasons on dvd and all of my children have watched them just to get caught up from the beginning, and now they are glued to the TV to see how this is going to finish out. Great Article!!!

Most of this can be explained by realizing that Ben secretly has a Blackberry, which he keeps hidden from everyone. This is how he accesses Wikipedia for information on famous dead authors. J/K My real theory is that the island is the point on earth where parallel universes meet.

In Daniel's Experiment, why can the islanders and freighter crew talk on the phone in real time yet a missile lands after a long time for the islanders.? I've got an idea in lost_in_time (no can post comments, but was able to rate your article on Lost)

I think they were flashbacks because the woman locke stabbed in the back had a scene. All hallucinations, dreams, ghosts, and psycic communications aside i still think dead is dead on the island.

It really does help to start from the begining, but there are many "catch up " shows that you can find online. This will give you the premise of what is going on, but will not allow you to find all the little things going on in the background, things like who is related to whom, and who has met in the past but doesn't really know it.

This is one of those shows I want to begin watching but think I have to start from the beginning to understand. Is that the case? The C.S. Lewis thing is cool.
