For generations now the honey loving bear Winnie-the-Pooh has been adored by his fans. There are Winnie-the-Pooh books for many different ages and as a toddler my son has a selection of his own. For Christmas he was given the very neat My First Winnie-the-Pooh Library book set.My First Winnie-the-Pooh Library book set comes with 5 little board books and a stand to hold them. The stand resembles a 4 sided wooden fence with the characters Piglet, Rabbit, Eeyore, Christopher Robin and of course Winnie-the-Pooh with a background of what can only be described as the 100 Acre Woods. The 3D illustrations is that quality of the classic Winnie-the-Pooh. One of the sides swings open and latches with magnets to in case the books and a handle allows a child to carry their little Pooh library anywhere they like.
The illustrated board books are Winnie-the-Pooh's ABC, Winnie-the-Pooh's Colors, Winnie-the-Pooh Tells Time, Winnie-the-Pooh's Opposites and Winnie-the-Pooh's 123. Each page in Winnie-the-Pooh's ABC has a picture of a word or name starting with a letter of the alphabet, except for the letter X, that shows a word that has an X in it though. Also on the page with the word is a picture of the character it is, thing it is or action it is. All of the words used of course are words associated with a Winnie-the-Pooh story.
Similarly simplistic the 123 book illustrates the numbers 1 through 12 showing the number on one side of the book and the amount of something on the opposite page. In Winnie-the-Pooh's Colors there are pictures and descriptions of items that are a particular color, every major color is discussed. In the Winnie-the-Pooh's Opposites book there are words that have opposite meanings, like up and down, high and low, loud and quiet, on each pair of pages and pictures to describe the words. Lastly in the Winnie-the-Pooh Tells Time book there is a picture of a clock on one page and on the other a picture and description of what at that time the character is doing.
