If you love to hunt for bargains, the top flea markets in Indianapolis, Indiana are definitely right up your alley. The flea market has often been considered the royal crown jewel in the collector’s arsenal for delightful eBay and collectible fodder. Bargain hunters bask in the glory of cheap NASCAR collectibles and hard to find action figures hidden among the flea market staples: junk and overstock. But the problem is, not every flea market is a collector’s paradise. Some are in the habit of leaving buyers hanging, full of all-new stuff that you wouldn’t even buy for a quarter at your grandma’s yard sale. The difference between a crappy flea market and a great one is the level of diversity of products offered, the friendly atmosphere, and the availability of lots of bargains.

Peddler’s Mall is one of the biggest flea markets in Indianapolis. They are located at 7803 E. Washington Street, Indianapolis, IN (317) 353-6710. If you want a huge selection that even interests book enthusiasts, this is the venue. I found an excellent deal on a poetry book that I later sold on eBay for eight dollars. I also found bargains on several dolls and toys. Some prices were right at eBay price, so you know that some of the sellers look them up, which is a definite minus, but not all prices are figured that way, which is apparent for fifty cent bins located throughout the mall.

Liberty Bell Flea Market has a lot of fun and useful things like car audio units, but they also have a lot of junk to go through. They are located at 8949 East Washington Street. They are open Friday 12 pm to 7pm. Saturday hours are 10 am to 7pm, and Sunday they are open from noon to 5. Their phone number is (317)898-3180. Booth space starts at $45, and there are both indoor and outdoor areas available for setup.

You missed one. Shipshewana is HUGE, and if you are in the mood, there's antique alley in Richmond. Both are nice.
