We received the Hamilton Beach 3-In-1 Slow Cooker on our wedding and I had no idea what it looked and worked like. Though I have seen my mother using crock pots, I have never used slow cookers and was thrilled and excited to work with it. This is really a wonderful idea and in deed very thoughtful of my friend to gift me this versatile and multipurpose slow cooker. As the name suggests this is basically a single slow cooker that comes with 3 separate crock pots of size 2-, 4- and 6- quarts that can be inserted inside the spacious cooker. I was just wondering how nice it would be if this slow cooker can be worked with all the three crock pots simultaneously with various temperature setting so that I can cook the entire meal in a single go.

The Hamilton Beach 3-In-1 Slow Cooker comes in a dimension of about 15x9x15 inches and this compact cooker does not require much of a storage space. This is ideal for those who live in small apartments and cannot afford to have a roomy cabinet or counter top to accommodate three crock pots. The beauty is that when not in use the three inserts can be telescoped into each other and they sit comfortably inside the other. This saves a lot of storage space. The size is just right to prepare a small bowl of soup for me and my husband or an elaborate dinner for the family. If you go out and buy the three pots separately it will not only be more expensive than this Hamilton Beach model but also there will be variation in the quality. This is a steal for $69.

This is a very simple and user friendly crock pot for the starters with no advanced features. I like the manually operated functions and the three temperature settings do not confuse the beginners. Since this is my first slow cooker I cannot compare this with other crock pots and by far this seems to be ok. I have used this to prepare casseroles, curries and pot roasts. The first time I made it the meat got burnt and I had to scrub it for a while to clear the mess. Then onwards I properly grease the pot and make sure that the water level is perfect. I had a feeling that this slow cooker cannot fuel the large 6 quart pot but it was just a baseless fear.
