I am a great fan of Kashi Cereals and simply adore them for the wide range of healthy cereals they come up different tempting flavors. I have been taking the Golean Crunch Cereal for quite some time and was kind of satisfied with it. I was so addicted to the Kashi that I never believed that there existed something better than these cereals. I have been taking the Golean Cereals regularly for breakfast and I got used so much to this monotonous diet that I simply could not think anything beyond this. Moreover I did not find need to search for other healthy cereals because the details of the nutrients given at the back of the package clearly justify the wholesome nature of the Kashi Golean Crunch Cereal.

A couple of months back I had an argument with my friend over the nutritious content of the breakfast cereals and he was adamant that the Back To Nature All Natural Granola is healthier and tastier than the Kashi Golean Crunch. I was trying to prove that Kashi leads the pack and finally when he gave me the information on the nutrients of Back To Nature, I had to surrender myself and accept that the Back To Nature (BTN) is slightly better than the Kashi. This was a great enlightment and let me share them to you.

The Kashi Golean Crunch is no doubt a low calorie cereal that has nearly twice the amount of proteins and fibers when compared to other standard breakfast cereals. But a close look at the Kashi and the BTN reveals that the BTN is healthier though it has 1.5% more fat content than the Kashi. The amount of sugar and salt is less in BTN when compared to Kashi and at the same time it has more proteins. The Kashi (95) is a low in calories when compared to the BTN (200). Here I would like to point out that the BTN is really a wholesome food with a combination of cereals and fruits in a perfect ratio. Though the picture on the package shows blueberries, actually there are none inside. In my opinion the BTN is ideal for kids in growing stage and the Kashi good those who are dieting or on restricted diet.
