His opening song "Hurricane" says, "from a seed to a tree, from a boy to man, you're a part of me, can't you understand?" And lyrics such as these continue throughout the collection of love songs.

Burkum's honesty in his lyrics, the soft acoustic sound, and his great personality in his overall style gives the impression that you're listening to one of the great classics such as Bob Dylan or the Beatles.

Burkum started his professional music career as the lead guitarist for Audio Adrenaline. However, the styles of the two groups are completely different. Whether or not you are a fan of Audio Adrenaline, don't mistake the two. Burkum stands out as a strong individual with much to offer to his listeners.
