Happy 50th Birthday Grammy! Highlight performances include Carrie Underwood looking amazing in a black outfit singing a new rendition of her Grammy winning song "Before He Cheats," and always Carrie sounded amazing. She's definitely becoming the most successful American Idol winner to date.

To honor the legendary Beatles, the Circus Oley did a performance title "A Day In The Life," and than and than they turned my favorite song, "Let it Be" into a gospel number which was song beautiful by a young, yet terrified looking, boy and a gospel singer who over sang the song and even hit a few bad notes along the way. The circus performance was one of the highlights of the night, the woman who was hanging from the rope was cool, I was afraid she was going to fall, got me a little nervous for a second there.

Beyonce, who is known for lip singing, didn't sing or speak live during her intro to all the women in music. Her short performance was horrible and boring. She introduced Tina Turner who looked amazing... how old is she? She completely upstaged Beyonce, than again everyone tonight out staged her. To quote Tyra Banks, Tina was FIERECE! That woman is an amazing performer, not quite like she used to be, but still a great performer. I was a little nervous, ok extremely nervous, when Tina announced Beyonce was going to join her on "Proud Mary," and I have to say Beyonce did a decent job.

Kanye West won a few awards tonight and he proves just how much of an ego he still has. It was sweet he made a speech about his mom, but he was a tad bit rude and I thought it was hilarious when Vince Gill said to Kanye, "I bet you never received a Grammy from a Beatle," that was priceless. Someone has to burst his ego and it was pretty hilarious that a country singer did that.

Alicia Keys won and performed twice looking stunning and sounding amazing both times. This woman can sing better than a lot of people out there. I found her performing with John Mayer pretty pointless. She should have performed on her own, "No One" is a great song and John Mayer playing the guitar wasn't really that exciting.

I know John and Alicia have collaborated together, I just don't think it was completely necessary they perform together again tonight. It would have been nice if she just performed the song on her own. And to the people making rude comments towards my opinion of Beyonce, she has lip synched before. No, I didn't get her mixed up with Britney. Like I said, Beyonce wasn't very good at the Grammy's, and her little intro was really bad. This is *MY* opinion on the show, you don't have to agree, but these are my thoughts on the show.

Why do people hate Beyonce for no logical reason? She gave an excellent mini performance, and please, only those living under a rock can accuse Beyonce of lip-syncing continuously --you must mean Britney Spears. The girl is the best live performer of her generation, and she also has a voice to admire. She is the reigning queen of popular music, and that's a fact many people aren't willing to accept. "I hear Beyonce on the radio all the time...and that's how I like it." PREACH

The previous poster is correct Beyonce is not known for lip synching you must be getting her confused with Britney Spears. Even though John Mayer didn't really do much on stage, I still appreciated him being up there with Alicia after all her was a part of the recording and writing process for her current album. Yeah, Beyonce was definitely holding back but who wouldn't she was probably quite nervous too.

John and Alicia collaborated many times on that album ("as i am"). He has co-writer credit for "Lesson Learned" and "Heavy Times", so its not a shock that they had them collaborate on a song at the Grammy's

John Mayer's guitar playing is not pointless. It was amazing. I just wish he also played a song on his own.

Beyonce is not known for lip synching. What planet do you live on? It was obvious she was holding back out of respect for Ms. Tina. You obviously have not seen this woman's live concert. She's amazing. Last night just wasn't example of that.
