With spring break time rapidly approaching, it seems like every college student in the world is trying to find somewhere to go. They want someplace where they are guaranteed to find some hot coeds, new friends, and of course some great drinks. Many college students are willing to pay outrageous sums of money just to experience all of this on their spring break in a warmer climate. Those students are missing out on the fun of Killington, Vermont.

If you're like most people, you're probably wondering why you would spend spring break in somewhere like Killington, Vermont instead of Jamaica or Cancun. After all, part of the fun of spring break is the chance to visit a warmer climate. What you might not know is that Killington, Vermont is one of the most popular ski destinations in the world, and more and more college students are heading east for their spring break.

The Killington Resort in Killington, Vermont is the tops when it comes to New England skiing. This resort has 7 mountains, 200 trails, 32 ski lifts, and 3 gondolas. Even if you aren't that interested in skiing or snowboarding, you can still have fun riding one of the gondolas to the top of the mountain and back again. Of course if you are interested in skiing, you can start off your spring break trip by taking a few lessons. Once you hit the slopes, you can show off your new skills to all your friends. You can also rent equipment directly from the resort, just in case you don't feel like lugging all that equipment with you on spring break.

Don't worry if some of your friends are more experienced skiers, while others are newbies. All of the trails are carefully marked for beginners, intermediate, and more advanced skiers. Simply make plans to meet at the base of the mountain, and then let everyone go wild on their own. If skiing isn't your thing, you can find iceskating, dogsleds, sleigh rides, or even spend a day at the Grand Spa for some true rest and relaxation.
