We all get to the age where we meet new people and most of these come when we finish our college years. Apparently, going into the career-development phase, we find ourselves in an environment where new people will come our way. We cannot ignore them. In most cases, we even find ourselves working with them and having to build ties with them. It just remains that we have to work as a team with them and normally, some people find something utterly different.
To some people, they often declare that it is all out of professional activities to which they have to be together. But for some people, it may turn out to be something more. We cannot hide for a fact that our longing for personal affection and attention carries on even until our yuppie years. It is at this stage that anything is possible and we may even find ourselves falling deeper than pure professional ties.
The development is imminent. Just imagine yourself seeing the same person everyday; possibly even having lunch together, you are bound to become interested. And do bear in mind, no one is exempted. Yes, this means even if you are married or in a relationship. You just cannot control falling for someone at times and when you do, you may even find yourself two-timing your real mate.
There are of course some who are officially single. They have the luxury of getting into a relationship to anyone they please. Some even tie the knot and all of these are thanks to meeting one another in a work setting. In a manner of speaking, you may want to say that an office is like a wide open lake where you are bound to catch a couple of prized fishes whom you will cherish for the rest of your life.
A word of caution though in the event you are among the people who find themselves falling in love and seeking to do the daring in cheating or carrying out a relationship with your officemate despite being married or engaged. Take some time to read the employee handbook regarding morality issues of the company. You may just be walking on a thin line and find yourself being dismissed or terminated if you are found to be violating any of the office policies of the company. Just be careful and do some mature thinking.
