This year the HGTV DREAM HOME is in the Florida Keys, on the Island of Islamorada. The HGTV DREAM HOME is located right on Florida Bay. It is a beautiful, three story home that has the most amazing views of Florida Bay. Every floor of the home has a balcony or a patio to take advantage of the great Florida weather. Any one of which would be the perfect place for your morning coffee, family midday meal, or romantic evening dinner for two.

The HGTV DREAM HOME is fully furnished and professionally decorated, with amazing furnishings from Ethan Allen. The second floor guestroom, painted in Sherwin-Williams "Parakeet" is simply stunning, and the Ethan Allen Rosette Quilt is just to die for. Oh, and of course there is a fishing closet. Can you even imagine a Florida DREAM HOME without a fishing closet? And I think it is fully stocked and ready for the winning fisherman! Anyone would be thrilled to win this beautiful home. Stop and see the amazing Gourmet kitchen full of stainless appliances and modern features with its fabulous views. Venture on to the living room with the beautiful dark hardwood floors from Lumber Liquidators and the Ethan Allen furnishings.

Before you leave, stop in the beautiful light blue kids bedroom and walk straight through to the entertainment room. Yes, that is every kids dream! When you get to the entertainment room, click on the movie camera to see how to make the mantle on the center wall. You can see it is a great place for your flat screen TV. There are movie cameras in most of the rooms that will give you a peek at how many of the projects were made.

After losing everything from my husband our home my job and having a wonderful daughter and two grandsons who have also lost there Dad, home we as a family need a home and a new start in life. Warm weather would be God given! We could stop the stress of not knowing where the next push comes. Regular life? We pray we'd have a change at finding out what comfortable, safe and breathing space is all about. Thank you

I'm a single parent of two teens and we are survivors of hurricane katrina. we were renting our home until the devastation and now we live in tx. we are unable to go back home for various reasons. our car wouldn't make it to the corner. and to add i'm disabled. all we have is each other after we lost our (home)town. it would be refreshing to have a home again.

Due to a car accident in August of 1993 that left my youngest son, Elliott,(9 years old at that time)disable and with many medical problems,I had to leave my job to care for him. As a result of this I lost my home of 7 years, in 2002.I'm a single parent now and would love to live in the Dream Home with my son Elliott, who is still diable.

After living through another Mid-West Winter, I'd be happy to live in a tent or trailer anyway in the Florida Keys;) I entered the contest, though, as this house would be much nicer!
