2008 Game Developers Conference Networking Party List

The 2008 Game Developers Conference will be taking place February 18^th through February 22^nd at the Moscone Convention Center in San Francisco CA. Before, during and after the conference there are many social parties held where people can network and talk about their career possibilities. It's a great opportunity for anyone looking for a career in game development but you first need to know where the parties are and what time they start. Following is a list of the Networking parties that will be held during the week of the conference.

The first two locations is the EA Networking Bar which will be located in the West Hall. They have plenty of couches, table and drinks so that you can talk business and still be comfortable. They will also have the Playstation Interactive Lounge which will include PS3 demo station and computers. There are also plenty of tables their for anyone who want to discuss some business. Both will be located into eh West Hall on Wednesday February 20^th and Thursday February 21^st from 9:00am until 6:00pm, and on Friday February 22^nd from 9:00am until 3:00pm.

Suite Night is an event held every year and is sponsored by some of the leading names in the industry. This year it will be held in the Hotel Ballroom level W. San Francisco hotel located at 181 3^rd St. San Francisco CA. It will be held on February 21^st at 8:00pm until 10:00pm. This location is one of the top spots for networking.

Video Games Live is another event that happens to be very popular. They have live music and interactive video games. There are also various performances held at this event. This year the video games live event will be held at Nob Hill Masonic Center on Friday February 22^nd, at 8:00pm until 10:00pm.

There will also be a Microsoft Casual Games Reception held on Monday, February 18^th at 6:00pm until 8:00pm. The location will be the West Hotel Great Room #2. The Game Outsourcing Community will be having Hors d' oeuvres, and cocktails, in the Moscone Center Lower Lobby near the north hall. This event will be held on Tuesday February 19^th from 6:00pm until 8:00pm.
