What Women Should Look for in a Man

I have decided that it is up to me to inform the many single women around the world, what they should be looking for in a potential life partner. These are the qualities that have bound my wife and I together for life. These are the qualities that make me remind my wife daily, how lucky she is. So ladies, get out your notebooks and get ready to be enlightened.

The first and foremost quality that should be sought in a man, is a sense of humor. I think a lot of women are already aware of this, but perhaps are not sure why it is so important. A good sense of humor adds color to a marriage. It makes it almost impossible to argue a lot because a man with a good sense of humor is rarely serious enough to actually participate in an argument.

"Why do you do that when you know how much it bothers me?"

"Because the toaster told me to."

"Do you always do what the toaster tells you to do?" (sarcastically).

"No, only when the microwave agrees."

Creativity is another very important quality that should be sought in a man. A creative husband is never a boring husband. Would a non-creative husband have the capacity to come up with "Act like an info-mercial host" Monday's, or "Don't wear pants to dinner" Thursday's? I think not. Another benefit of the creative husband is the income potential. For example, I am currently working on several inventions such as the Walk-in microwave and a secret formula that magically helps get Silly Putty unstuck from cat's fur.

Finally, a man with strong problem solving skills is vital to a hassle free marriage. This quality can put out those little fires that can lead to the stress that might cause disharmony between a couple. For example, my wife comes into the living room and wakes me from a nap by saying, "my car won't start."
