When my daughter Lexi started teething, it was an overwhelming experience for us. Being a first time parent, I truly wasn't sure on what to do or how to go about doing it. As she got older and enjoyed more solid foods, I was looking for something that would soothe her while giving her a little bit of a snack. It wasn't until my mother brought me home a box of Earth's Best Wheat Teething Biscuits that I finally realized I had found the balance that I was looking for.

When I opened the box, my initial reaction was joy. I had been using Gerber's teething biscuits prior to this and they all came in one little bag. You'd open it to get one and seal it back up, but I only could imagine that the rest would be stale. With the Earth's Best organic wheat teething biscuits, they came pre-packaged and had 2 per wrapper. Okay, so it might be a small thing, but it's those little things in life that really excite you, and this was one of these things. As an adult we do not like having to consume anything that is stale so why should out children have to?

Another great perk of this organic baby food was the fact that the teething biscuits were wheat. I grew up as the whole milk drinking, white bread eating girl. I always thought that anything other than white bread was terrible. As I grew up and eventually when I was pregnant with Lexi, I transitioned into a healthier eater eventually realizing that wheat bread was yummy. I felt great knowing that I was starting to instill those same healthy eating principles in my daughter (although she was unaware of it at the time).

Essentially though, it all boiled down to how she was going to handle eating these organic baby food biscuits. When I gave her one, she reached out and grabbed it as she normally did for her other teething biscuits. She was able to grasp and hold on to it, so it is definitely easy for her eat. As always though, I sat right by her side as she ate it. I often would worry that it would break into a bunch of little pieces, creating a choking hazard.

Great review. I wish these were around when my kids (now 18 and 20) were little!

I agree with what jcorn said. It isn't a little thing to find smaller packaging. That's what I hated about those Gerber biscuits too. Great review!

I tried to leave a comment but I'm not seeing it: Anyway, loved when you wrote: With the Earth's Best organic wheat teething biscuits, they came pre-packaged and had 2 per wrapper. Okay, so it might be a small thing, but it's those little things in life that really excite you, and this was one of these things." With a personal take like that, this review is a winner!

I loved reading these sentences: " With the Earth's Best organic wheat teething biscuits, they came pre-packaged and had 2 per wrapper. Okay, so it might be a small thing, but it's those little things in life that really excite you, and this was one of these things...." You then went on to note that our children shouldn't have to eat stale food. Absolutely true. With your personal take as a parent added to this review, you took it from a simple product review to one that any parent or person who loves babies and children could relate to. Super job!
