Movies to Be Released to Theater's December 2008

"The Day The Earth Stood Still" is a remake of the 1951 alien invasion sci-fi film. To be released to theaters on December 12th, director Scott Derrickson will deliver a picture about a visitor and his robot coming to visit Earth. This sci-fi action packed film will star Kathy Bates, Jennifer Connelly, and Keanu Reeves.

Will Smith, Rosario Dawson, and Woody Harrelson will star in a drama called "Seven Pounds." Directed by Gabriele Muccino "Seven Pounds" will be released to theaters on December 12th also. This motion picture is about a man who is contemplating suicide, then meets a woman whom he ends up falling in love with.

A romantic/ horror type of vampire flick called "Twilight" will be released to theaters also on December 12th. Directed by Catherine Hardwicke comes a story about a young girl who falls in love with a boy. The boy she likes just happens to be a vampire, when other vampires come to town, they might just be curious about his new girlfriend. This film with star Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattison.

"Yes Man" is a comedy starring Jim Carrey that will be released to theaters on December 19th. This motion picture is a story about a man that puts himself to a challenge, he has to say "yes" to everything for an entire year. Directed by Peyton Reed this film will also star Danny Masterson, Molly Sims, and Zooey Deschanel.

A great comedy that will be coming to theaters on December 19th is called "Marley and Me" starring Owen Wilson and Jennifer Aniston. Directed by David Frankel comes a story about a dog that teaches his family important lessons.

On December 19th "Revolutionary Road" will be released to theaters. Based on a book comes a story about a young couple who struggles with many problems while trying to raise their children, causing their relationship to fall apart. Directed by Sam Menedes this film will star Leonardo DiCaprio, Kate Winslet, Kathy Bates, and Michael Shannon.
