Til Death Do You Part

Fifty-one cameras, seventy-four microphones, sixteen Houseguests and half a million dollars equals Big Brother Nine, the first ever winter Big Brother edition. This special winter edition, beginning the week of Valentines Day, is centered around love. Each potential contestant filled out an extensive personality profile and after reviewing all the profiles and hours of interviews, Big Brother producers matched sixteen people with their potential soulmate.

CBS is playing matchmaker this season. The soulmates will become teammates and compete as couples for the grand prize of half a million dollars.

The Women:

There are seven women playing. Allison is a twenty-eight year old pharmaceutical sales representative from Boston. Amanda is twenty-three and a paralegal from Minnesota. The college student is twenty-one year old Chelsia from Iowa. We have another Jen this season who could not be more different than last season's Jen. She is twenty-six and a bartender from Ohio. Natalie is a self proclaimed bikini barista and she is twenty-eight and living in Oregon. Sharon is a twenty-three year old Realtor from Kansas. The oldest person in the house is the forty-five year old former model and stay at home mom, Sheila from California.

The Men:

There are more men this season than women. Adam is a twenty-nine year old Public Relations Manager from Florida. Alex owns a DJ company in New York and he is twenty-four. Jacob is a twenty-three year old electrician from Georgia. James is homeless and is bike riding across the world. He is from Florida and is twenty-one. Joshuah is in advertising, is twenty-five and lives in Dallas, Texas. Matt is a twenty-three year old roofing foreman from Massachusetts. Neil is a California Realtor and is twenty-nine years old. This season we will have a Paparazzo to talk about and maybe he will get a taste of his own medicine when he emerges from the house with all his personal and private stuff all out in the world and being talked about by everyone. This would be twenty-six year old Parker from California. Ryan is a twenty-seven year old student from Ohio.
