Winter Weather to Blanket Eastern U.S.

We live in a particularly snowy area in the Pennsylvania mountains. Currently we heard TV and computer weather reports predicting that we will be getting hit with a big snowstorm with a mix of heavy snow and rain.

My wife and I had postponed for so many days our chance to eat stovetop homemade popcorn, now we hear ominous weather reports predicting "Winter Weather to Blanket Eastern U.S.". Will this stop us from enjoying our long wished popcorn? No! Since we are staying home during this storm, I was elected to go outside, brush the snow off the side burner of the grill and pop our long awaited popcorn. The enclosed picture shows that event!

Whenever there are major winter storms coming our way, I really enjoy using my computer to get more information for the upcoming weather events.

This current winter storm is been reported by many websites including here at accuweather.com, also here at weather.com, and other websites.

It was reported at this link on Accuweather.com, that as of the afternoon of February 12, this storm is rated a 3 in a scale of 1 to 5. Then as of the morning of February 13, 2008 the website still cautions motorists to be careful through the next few days due to continued slippery road conditions. In general, however, in my opinion our area was spared major weather related difficulties.
