Celebrate Valentine's Day at Deleece

Chicago (February 2008) - Couples looking for a romantic, cozy place to celebrate Valentine's Day should look no further than Deleece (4004 N. Southport, 773-325-1710), a sophisticated restaurant offering a four-course prix fixe meal with wine pairings on February 14, 15 and 16. For the first course of the prix fixe menu, guests can enjoy Red and White Soup, half potato leek and half beet gruyere, paired with Les Jamelles Chardonnay, 2006, France. Following the soup as the second course is the Frisee Salad, served with fried oysters, dried cherries and warm fennel seed vinaigrette, complimented by Crios Rose, 2007, Argentina. The third course of the meal gives guests a choice of either Beef Tenderloin with porcini mashed potatoes and truffle herb butter sauce, with Hazard Hill Shiraz, 2004, Australia; or Potato Wrapped Kampachi with saffron braised Napa cabbage and pimento aioli, paired with Yalumba Viognier, 2006, Australia. The final course, dessert, is Chocolate Fondue for Two to Share.

Deleece provides the prix fixe menu for dinner on February 14, 15 and 16 during its regular hours. The prix fixe menu with wine pairings is $130 per couple, and without wine pairings is $100 per couple. Deleece's regular a la carte menu is also offered during the prix fixe special.
